Sarah is a 29th Chef who loves cooking since she was a child.
She always had this passion inside
and always tried new cooking techniques and new ingredients, teaching herself by watching videos and reading books about food from chefs all around the world.
In 2023 she attended a Cooking Academy in Milan and then went to work in a One Michelin Star Restaurant in Venice - Italy, where she discovered her passion for Venetian Cuisine and fixed her values about cooking:
sustainability, seasonality, territoriality and no waste concept.
Then she went to work in another Michelin Guide’s Restaurant in Trento where she entirely managed first courses and dessert ones as Chef de Partie about both.
From 2025 she decided to set up her own business as Personal Chef and that’s the way for her to express her own cooking language and discovered more and more about cuisine, always knowing new Chefs and a lot of people from cuisine world.
Now she is here for you to teach all the secrets about Italian and Venetian cuisine!
Someone says that you eat not only by your mouth but first with your eyes, your nose and even
with your ears. Here you’ll have the chance to improve your cooking techniques to make
marvelous Italian dishes, starting by the best local products, which is essential to have gorgeous
flavors that enrapture all of your senses.
We’ll take care of every singular detail: taste, technique, plating…and of course the joy to eat.
NOT only a simple cooking class, an taste experience with travel to Venice and the Prosecco’s Land
Starting by buy an amazing rice cultivated near Venice, to know perfectly every single step to create the best risotto.
Didn’t you know that here in Italy we also have some vegetarian traditional dishes?! You’ll discover them and see how veg cuisine can really be a beautiful surprise.
We’ll go all around Italy with some recipes and techniques to know perfectly all the secrets of the symbol of Italy: we are sure that finally you’ll know how to do the best to serve an amazing pasta dish.
Venetian cuisine represent a very traditional way to cook local ingredients; they basically are not so reach of flavors, but with right venetian techniques and matches you can transform them into something magic that surely you’ll propose when you’ll return back home!
We obviously had to put in the program this kind of lesson: what an Italian experience can be
without it?!
MONDAY
Guests arrive by 12:00 noon.
Introductions and presentation of the week.
Welcome lunch prepared by Sarah Coller, using local and seasonal products.
Check-in into rooms and relax until 3:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. Shopping for fruit, vegetables, other ingredients from local markets.
5:00 p.m. Cooking Class FRESH PASTA
Tagliatelle, ravioli, bigoli...and more.
Dinner with the dishes prepared.
TUESDAY
Early wake-up and visit to the Rialto fish market in Venice to purchase fish.
Return to the Villa by 11:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. Cooking Class VENETIAN CUISINE
You’ll cook Venetian dishes and desserts always based on the freshness and the season of the
moment.
The cooking class will be divided into two parts (lunch and dinner) with a break from 3:00 p.m.
to 5:00 p.m.
WEDNESDAY
Wake up and learn how to prepare most famous “venetian fast lunch” with a Cooking Class on
VENETIAN SANDWICHES, to take as a packed lunch for a trip to S. Erasmo Island for vegetable
gardens, lagoon herbs and more.
Return to the Villa at 3:00 p.m.
4:30 p.m. First step of the Cooking Class PIZZA AND ICE CREAM.
6:00 p.m. Cooking Class ITALIAN VEGETARIAN CUISINE.
Dinner with the dishes prepared.
THURSDAY
Trip to some agricultural companies that produce amazing foodstuffs like cheese, saffron...
11:30 a.m. Cooking Class DRY PASTA
You’ll replicate some famous recipes from Venice and Italy.
Lunch and break.
5:00 p.m. Second step of the Cooking Class PIZZA AND GELATO.
Dinner with the dishes prepared.
FRIDAY
Trip to the best local rice field by “La Fagiana”.
11:30 a.m. Cooking Class RISOTTO
Here you’ll learn all secrets to do the best risotto of your life.
Lunch and break.
Last evening at the guests' discretion between:
- Cooking class on another theme of your choice (included in the price)
- Preparation of typical cicchetti accompanied by local wine (included in the price)
- Trip to Venice and tour of bacari and typical places (transfer included in the price, dinner
not included)
- Dinner to the Venissa Restaurant, a Michelin Star Restaurant which uses only local
ingredients and invasive species of the lagoon, with a tour of gardens and vineyards
(transfer included in the price, dinner not included)
- Dinner out in a typical restaurant (transfer included in the price, dinner not included)
Optional and by reservation, to be added to one of the evenings between Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday: local wine tasting with Sommelier Marina Brescini (not included in the price).
